The “Young Ham Lends a Hand Contest” is accepting nominations until April 1, 2023. The winner will receive a $100 stipend and will be announced at the Youth Forum at Hamvention.
Carole Perry WB2MGP is the director of The Radio Club of America (RCA). She states that, “We want to reward a young ham who has volunteered to help an elderly person, a military person, his or her community somehow or a young ham actively involved with recruiting other young people into ham radio.”
